Here's my comment for the day:So I'm taking part in a very historical day yesterday with the inauguration of the 44th President of the U.S. and the 1st African American male to hold this position. A lot of people say that they never thought they'd live to see the day. I don't know that I agree. Strangely enough it didn't seem that far fetched to me, but then again my mind is very warped. Anyhow i'm saying all of this to get to my comment. Now don't get me wrong, I feel very bad about what happened to Sen. Kennedy at the luncheon. I truly hopes he recovers to working form and continues to be a productive citizen as he has been. However, I got very fed up with the media and how they kept having to get the update on him. Every 15 min or so. They even cut Russell Simmons' interview short so they could get the scoop on the Senator. Russell is trying to express his thoughts and feelings about the President's day and all they want to do is get side tracked. By this time Kennedy was in the hospital laughing and joking around. Stop diverting the attention and stay focused on Obama. He deserves to have all the attention. Oh and did anyone else see that Antawn Fisher lookin boy at the beginning when they showed that sailor dude? lol
